What makes your PCs and displays rugged?

A rugged PC or displays differs from regular off-the-shelf or retail hardware because it is designed and built to withstand harsh environments like outdoor weather, water and dust intrusion, extreme temperatures, shock, vibration and 24 hour operation.

What does sunlight readable mean?

When we call our displays sunlight readable, it means that they are 1) high bright (over 1000 nits) and 2) either optically bonded or optically matched using polarizing films to reduce the glare and refraction between the LCD and touch glass. As a result, our sunlight readable displays are actually usable in direct sunlight unlike displays that are only high bright or optically enhanced but not both.

What is the difference between IP65 and IP67?

IP stands for Ingress Protection. The first digit stands for dust ingress protection and the second represents water ingress protection. Both IP65 and IP67 offer total protection against dust ingress. IP65 provides protection against water projected by a nozzle against the enclosure from any direction but not against prolonged soaking, standing water or immersion. IP67, on the other hand, provides IP65 protection and also protection against temporary immersion in water up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes.

Can I add any IO to my PC?

Some models support IOs that others don’t. For example, there are only a few units that support a full size PCIe card: Cincoze DS series, GP series, our SC240ST, SC241S, SC240ML and rack server PCs. But a lot of the IOs available can be fitted to most of our offerings via add-on modules, expansion cards or adapters. For example, PoE, Canbus, Wifi/LTE, RS232/422/485 and USB 3.0 are available on the vast majority of our units. Of course, there are some limits depending on the chipset platform and space. If you have questions about specific units or want to find out which model would be best for your use case, we’re here to help!

What are your mounting options?

Most of our units support various mounting options such as VESA, DIN, pole and panel mounting. Mounting options will be specific in the product description and typically don't include the actual mount, just the support for it.

Ordering

How do I order something?

Some select products are available for purchase directly from our store (like our SunVu monitors, industrial PCs and accessories). Our IP67 and more customizable units can be ordered by submitting a quote request with your requirement and then obtaining a quote. We try to make the process as easy and painless as possible!

Do you do demos?

For the right project, we can offer a 30-day trial for typically stocked items (or close equivalents). Just reach out to our sales team to find out more!

Shipping

What countries do you ship to?

We ship worldwide; however, the products purchased through our online store are only available for shipping within North America. If you are outside of North America, reach out for a quote and we'll be happy to accommodate most locations.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Standard shipping normally takes 3-5 days. Next day shipping is available on all domestic orders (for an additional charge). International shipping times depend on the products and destination. Estimates will be detailed in the quote you receive when you inquire about a product.

Returns and Repairs

What is your return policy?

If you don't absolutely love our products or they're not the right fit for your application, you can return them for a full refund (minus freight costs) or exchange within 30 days of the date of purchase. Equipment needs to be returned in new condition and with all the accessories, otherwise a re-stocking fee may apply.

What is your repair policy?

All our products come with 1 year parts and labor warranty. If your product doesn't function as it should, you can request a Return Material Authorization. If it is within the warranty period, all work will be performed at zero charge to you; you will only need to cover the freight cost to us. Past the 1 year window, you will receive an estimate once the product has been received and investigated. Typically a $80 diagnostics fee will apply.
